The Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Equine Practitioners is looking for a Florida based individual with horse industry experience that possesses good business skills, work ethic and integrity. Person must show initiative with limited supervision to work with a diverse group of professionals, veterinary and otherwise, within the horse industry. Meeting planning skills preferred. Salary and benefits package to be commensurate with experience. Background check and suitable references mandatory for consideration.

The FAEP's mission is to support the professional development of its members and to educate its members on conditions affecting the equine industry as well as methods for improving the welfare of horses in the state of Florida.

Specific duties to include: organization of several large events annually, fundraising, advertising sales, publishing (electronic & print) oversight, and financial management. Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills a must.
