The newly-formed Florida Association of Equine Practitioners (FAEP) has begun publication of a full-color bimonthly newsletter to be direct-mailed to every equine practitioner in the state of Florida as well as general veterinarians treating equine, mixed animals and small animals throughout the state. Total circulation will be 2500.
The newsletter, to be called The Practitioner, will feature profiles on leading vets, industry news, medical announcements and new products and services available in the industry. According to Executive Director Rhicco Rentas, “We expect this newsletter to grow quickly into a magazine and become the forum for our industry. Initially advertising space will be limited and we will accept reservations on a first-time, first-served basis. Companies holding prime positions will have first right-of-refusal on their positions indefinitely.”
The first issue of The Practitioner began in May, 2005.
